Ryan Scott isn’t your average homebuilder. Raised in the construction industry and shaped by a decade managing complex commercial projects across the U.S., he was ultimately drawn back to Montana and the family business.

With a background in fire sprinkler design, Ryan brings a meticulous eye for detail and safety to every custom home. His experience leading high-pressure projects ensures a smooth, thoughtful process from start to finish. He’s not just building homes—he’s building legacies.

VNESSA SCOTT - OWNER/CONTROLLER

Vnessa Scott, Owner at Skyline Builders, brings over 15 years of finance experience to her role as Controller. With a passion for numbers and organization, she helps keep every project running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside the office, Vnessa enjoys time with her family, traveling, and exploring the Flathead Valley—where hiking, biking, and soaking in the views are some of her favorite ways to connect with the place she calls home.

JAYME DUTY - SUPERINTENDENT

A Whitefish local and generational builder, Jayme brings deep knowledge of the Montana landscape and years of hands-on experience to Skyline Builders. Formerly the owner of his own framing company, he’s a master craftsman known for his attention to detail, strong leadership, and ability to deliver quality projects on time and on budget.

His love for Big Sky Country shows in every thoughtfully built home designed to stand the test of time.

KEVIN SCOTT - PROJECT MANAGER

From managing the logistics of a major trucking company to overseeing projects at Skyline Builders, Kevin Scott brings order, efficiency, and thoughtful planning to every build.

Kevin excels at coordination, problem-solving, and keeping projects running smoothly. A Whitefish local, he offers deep knowledge of the area and a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver successful projects.

JONAH FREEMAN

Raised in Montana, Jonah has spent the past 15 years building a career in the trades, starting in construction during high school and advancing through hands-on experience. His work has instilled a strong commitment to precision, dedication, and teamwork, with pride in bringing projects to life from the ground up.

A true Montana outdoorsman, Jonah brings the same focus and care to every home he helps build, ensuring quality and craftsmanship that reflect the spirit of the Big Sky region.

KILEY KARY - FINANCE COORDINATOR

As Skyline’s Finance Coordinator, Kiley keeps the financial side of every project running smoothly. Known for her accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, she ensures accounts receivable and payable are handled with care and precision. Kiley values clear communication and works closely with clients, vendors, and team members to keep operations on rack and projects moving forward.

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom who loves spending time with her kids and getting out on the golf course whenever she can.

RONNIE SCHELL - PURCHASING SPECIALIST

At Skyline Builders, smooth operations rely on meticulous planning and strong relationships. That's where Ronnie Schell comes in. As our Purchasing and Takeoff Specialist, Ronnie's sharp eye for detail ensures every project has the right materials at the right time, keeping construction running efficiently.

Ronnie is a master of vendor relations, cultivating strong partnerships that benefit both Skyline Builders and our suppliers. His dedication guarantees we get the best possible materials at competitive prices.

THERESA STEFFENS - SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

With over 15 years of experience, Theresa brings expertise and a genuine Midwestern work ethic to her role as Sales and Marketing Manager. She focuses on truly listening to clients and understanding their goals, ensuring each project reflects their unique vision.

She also partners closely with local architects, realtors, and tradespeople, coordinating every detail to create a seamless, well-rounded experience from concept to completion.

SHAWN TUCKER - SALES & MARKETING

Shawn brings a unique blend of experience and passion to Skyline Builders. As a member of our Sales and Marketing team, he leverages his deep knowledge of Montana and proven relationship-building skills to guide clients toward their dream homes. His years running a successful commercial advertising and printing company honed his communication skills, ensuring every client feels understood and supported.

A fourth-generation Montanan, Shawn draws on his roots and local expertise to help clients create homes that capture their vision and the spirit of Montana living.
